Listening Skills

Our training course on “Listening Skills in the Workplace” aims to educate employees on the importance of effective listening and how it can positively impact the workplace.

Participants will learn about the different types of listening, such as active, reflective, and empathetic listening, and how to use them effectively in different situations. They will also learn about the benefits of effective listening, including improved work performance, increased trust, better communication, and healthier relationships with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders. Additionally, the module will cover how these skills can improve work ethics, such as respect for others, empathy, and professionalism. The course will also cover the SOLER model, which is an acronym for S-Sit upright, O-Open posture, L-Lean forward, E-Eye contact, R-Relaxed, which is a technique to help people to improve their listening skills.

The course provides participants with strategies and techniques for developing and utilising effective listening skills, such as active listening, reflecting, and empathetic listening. It also includes group discussions and hands-on activities to help participants apply these techniques in real-life situations. By the end of the course, participants will have a better understanding of the importance of listening skills in the workplace and will be equipped with the skills to listen and communicate effectively with others in a professional setting.
